Yours Forever
This lyric is featured in The Tale of Anerudo, which can be purchased on Amazon, here.
Verse 1: When the stones crush on my feet,
I – know where to find you
A storm is knocking hard on my door
In times like this, I need you
To be strong for me
Chorus: I am yours forever
Yours forever
You are mine and I am yours.
Verse 2: When an army breaks your heart
Tell them, my love heals fast
No one can throw you away
Even just for a day
For, I will never stop loving you.

The Way We Are
This speech was written and delivered in 2008 at Gateway High School - Public Speaking Competition. That same year it was published in the Gateway High School’s newsletter.
Do you know why you were born? Do you know why God created you? Do you know that you are unique just the way you are?
Today, I want to fill your minds with things that you have probably heard but never bothered to think about.
One day when I was watching television. I could not believe what I saw, what I learnt, what I heard with my two ears; it was revealed that millions of young people like us are dying.
Of what you may want to ask?
Suicide is robbing our youths, the failure to accept ourselves the way we are. This has become global crisis.
Today many young people with brightened future, have lost their image. The reason behind all of this plight, is caused by the failure to cope with the pressures we as young people get from: the media, society and social networks. We have lost our identity and no longer acknowledge who we truly are. This artificial image which is create by bogus unrealistic expectations make us something that we are not.
Think about it, when you stare at yourself in the mirror: Who do you see? What do you see? What do you know about you? What do you love about you? Who made you just the way you are?
We all know that we are fearfully and wonderfully made in God's image. If our creator made us just the way we are then we all have something special about us. God made you, designed you and loves you in a certain way that only him is proud of. You should never be ashamed to be the person who you are.
A couple of years ago, I was confused and I did not know that in God’s sight I was beautiful and perfect just the way I was. Life seemed meaningless, blank and I wanted to give up the gift of living. I looked at myself the way people perceived me and not the way God looks at me. I finally realised that God had a purpose for my life and I was someone, something beyond imagination. I was something to the world, from then whenever I looked in the mirror I only saw myself.
Our friends, parents, families and community can also make us believe in the image that we are not. On the hand they can help us look at ourselves the way we are. Therefore whatever you watch, whatever you read, whatever you do, should never change the way you are.
